FAQ
If you do not see your question here, send it along. Every good trip starts with one.
If you enjoy spending nights comparing hotels and hunting for the right train connection, you may not need one. Most people reach out when the research stops being fun and starts feeling like a second job. A travel advisor saves you time, catches the details you would not know to look for, and gives you a real person to call if something shifts while you are traveling.
Slow travel means spending more time in fewer places and building the trip around what you actually want to do, not just what you can fit into a checklist. It is the difference between a packed itinerary and one that leaves room for a long lunch, a wrong turn that leads somewhere interesting, or a day where you do almost nothing at all.
I can help with flight recommendations and timing, but I do not book airline tickets directly as a standalone service. For most itineraries, I focus on the hotels, transfers, tours, and experiences that make the trip feel like yours, and I coordinate with you on the best flight options.
For many cruise and package bookings, there is no planning fee because the supplier pays a commission. For complex independent itineraries, I charge a planning fee that is discussed openly before we start. Either way, you will know what to expect upfront, and there are no hidden costs.
Booking online is a transaction. Working with a travel advisor is a conversation. You get recommendations based on what you actually like, access to rates and perks that are not always public, and someone who knows the full picture of your trip if a flight is delayed or a hotel needs to change.
I book more than river cruises. I specialize in fully independent itineraries, particularly in Iceland, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Croatia, and I also plan European river cruises with pre and post cruise extensions. If you are dreaming of something else, tell me where you want to go and we will see if it is a good fit.
For river cruises, six to twelve months is ideal. For independent European itineraries, three to nine months gives us room to secure the right hotels and guides. If your timeline is shorter, reach out anyway. Sometimes the best trips come together quickly, and it is worth knowing what is possible.
